I'm currently a senior at UC San Diego majoring in Cognitive Science with a specialization in Design & Interaction with a minor in Design. I aim to create intuitive, productive, and accessible features for all people to enhance the overall experience.

My interest in UX/UI design had kindled ever since I built my first gaming PC. After taking the time to understand how numerous components can come together to create something unique, greater, and more effective, I quickly found a path that best fits my desires. The fusion of technical knowledge, personal creativity, and design motivated me to further develop and enhance my skills.

Being a child of two immigrant parents who had little to no access to technology growing up, I understand the barriers that come with adapting to something unfamiliar. I aspire to create human-centered solutions that can ultimately minimize the hurdles that those worldwide face, while also being a satisfactory and enjoyable experience overall.

Since transferring to UC San Diego, I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with the San Diego community through Triton Software Engineering, a student organization that provides pro-bono design and software development services for non-profit clients. Furthermore, to work closely with the San Diego community through a different outlet, I’ve recently involved myself with Design for America, a student organization that aims to help the local community through the usage of human-centered design. Additionally, to gain more experience and knowledge within the greater field of design, I’ve been apart of Design Co for roughly 2 years now, UCSD’s largest design community that aims to bridge the gap between upcoming designers and the industry.
